Problem:
After installing AutoCad onto a Windows 7 machine AutoCad will crash every time you attempt to run it.
Solution:
Find the AutoCad shortcut (most likely located on the desktop)
Right click the shortcut and select properties
Switch to the Compatibility tab
Check the box beside
Run this program in compatibility mode for:
Choose Windows XP (Service Pack 3) in the drop down field just below step 4
Click
Apply
and
OK
Run AutoCad and it should work
